The Deore M7200 12-speed mechanical rear derailleur carries forward all the new technology of the XT M8200 but utilizes a strong steel pulley cage in its long-cage construction. This adds nominal weight but also ups durability of an already-robust structure. The derailleur’s wide link structure adds strength, and its wedge-shaped design helps dodge impacts on the trail.
